    Lenses

    You do not have all prescription lenses available and no idea when . This info via email . I bought lenses that may help with sea swimming but are not the correct ones . I will not be buying your goggles again .

    Hello Steve
    I appreciate your support of the much-loved AquaSphere Eagle goggle. We are equally frustrated by this situation.

    Sadly, AquaSphere are experiencing long-term manufacturing difficulties in Italy that are out of our control.
    We have tried to mitigate the intermittent delays over the last year by increasing our stock-holding but now unfortunately the stock of some powers has completely run out.

    I am sorry the lens selected as an alternative was not suitable for you.

    In our email conversation, Debbie suggested the nearest alternative, the Reef which I appreciate may or may not be appropriate.
    In fact, our optician sourced an entire shipment of this goggle last year for this very reason, to ease the forthcoming Eagle shortage.

    We stock three goggles that sit on the brow and cheekbones (Surf, Coral, Reef) as the Eagle does but only the Reef has clear lenses.
    Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

    Why did I not know of this solution previously

    After open water swimming for quite some years where it is important to be able to navigate as there is no black line in the bottom of the ocean to follow I now have a pair of googles which are correcting my sight sufficiently for allowing me to have much better swim experiences. Thank you for that …
